Dear Journal:

I have been considering a very unusual venture which, if I actually pull it off, will become extremely dangerous not only for myself but for everyone around me. I confess I am uncertain how to approach this task nor how to find people willing to share in the burden with me, yet it must be done. Somewhere, somehow, I will find like-minded individuals to support me in this venture....

I really ought not write while under the influence of Veritaserum alcohol. Yes. Well, then, I'll simply wrap up this entry, remarking only as a side-note that I saw Lucius last night. He was... vexingly confusing, as always. On the one hand he proclaimed his... erm, great affection for me. Yet on the other, he had little explanation for where he had been nor what he'd been doing.

I am so disheartened. I worship the ground on which he walks prefer for our relationship to remain amicable. Yet it is so difficult with the way he behaves, sometimes.

In the meantime... Ten points for the first person who can tell me the correct dose of Veritaserum to give to a person at one time.
