"I BELIEVE MARRIAGE is between a man and a woman, and I believe we ought to codify that one way or the other, and we have lawyers looking at the best way to do that," the president said in a wide-ranging news conference at the White House Rose Garden.
Bush also urged, however, that America remain a "welcoming country" not polarized on the issue of homosexuality.
"I am mindful that we’re all sinners, and I caution those who may try to take a speck out of the neighbor’s eye when they’ve got a log in their own," the president said. "I think it is important for our society to respect each individual, to welcome those with good hearts."
"On the other hand, that does not mean that someone like me needs to compromise on the issue of marriage," he added.

FUCK YOU. its like... could someone please explain to me why some people think that homosexuality is wrong? i just cant understand prejudice in general but overall how can one person be better than other based of skin colour or sexual preference... just something i never understood...

just some one leave a comment ... someone who understands prejudice and tell me how some people just cant see that homosexuals are people too and that theres nothing "weird" about them... its like inter racial marriages are allowed but who not gay and lesbian? anyway.. my message to alll...



please encourage your parents not to vote for george w bush in the upcoming election. being as this is a free country dont you think that certain rights such as marriage should not be denied to people according to their person. DONT YOU ALL THINK WE SHOULD HAVE AN OPEN MINDED PRESIDENT FOR THE HOME OF THE FREE?

thats disgusting. i hate all this homophobia everywhere. it pisses me off to the extreme. I do not think a person should be judged on their sexuality and why the fuck can't two people who love each other get married? Gender shouldn't matter in love. And just because someone likes people of the same sex, it doesn't make them a different person than who they were before. god i hate ignorant people. the world is so full of them.
