Today was the first drumline practice of the season and im tryin out for bass, jezz i hope i make it. Please i dont want to be in the pit again, I want to do bass so badly,and if i dont make it im gonna do guard... haha... nooooo! i just really dont want to do pt again b/c they seem like they have enough people for the pit and they'll probably put me on the timpani like last year and ill have th dumbest part ever. Megan told me that shes praying for me to make bass. That is soo sweet of her.
Prctice was sooo... ugh dont know. It was weird because we did basics and i already did this crap last year and i dont feel like learning it over again because the drumline never does basics later in the season. Basics is for the band they're moving the most and if m gona be in the pit i dont need to know this crap. Basics is a bunch of crap!!!!!!!! we need to do some drumming here... Yeah!!!!!!!!
We did eight on a hand for like the whole time and then we did this triplet excercise the Joe made up this taps excersise that we did a few times then back to eight on a hand. when we were doing the triplet excercise Mike was trying to help me but all he was doing was messing me up even worse and then i felt like an idiot but i think ive got eight on a hand down to a perfection... haha we're gonna be doin eight on a hand forever. Its all we're gonna be doing for like the next 80 practices. ha! a little exaggeration there! ha im sooo funny there. oh goodie more parctice tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that, but no practice friday. YAY! i kinda want to go to practice but then i think about what im saying and then i dont.
At jen and Tashas party today we wereplaying volleyball and i missed it a few times and may have hit it in the wrong direction once or twice but that is noreason for Reynolds to tell me i suck im actuall pretty good after ive warmed up and then he said that the dog is better that me. Hey! not funny!
Tom is being mean, he said that Amy left the locker to him but in reality she left it to me hes being a real dick head and needs to stop right NOW! I hate it when he does this kind of crap, it really pisses me off. He can be the nicest guy sometimes and then in five minutes he can be the biggest dick! At kristines party h hit Amanda in the head really hard that shes said she saw stars for a sec and then he was like owwww and wen and put his hand in some ice and acted like it was Amanda's fault that he hit her, he was just having on of his mood swings.
At practice when we were 'learning' to mark time and Mr. Shram comes up to me and says only lift ur heel not your whole foot and i said it the way the drum line does it and and he said 'oh'. then after the meeting he said to me hey are you a freshman or sophmore and i was like junior. ha, he felt like an idiot.
