#2 is obvious bs in every way shape and form.

#5 is just stupid...if you need time to be free why didn't you think about that before you got together with said person ya moron??

#1 - It's not you...it's me...

Normally that is used as bs but it can, believe it or not, be legit.

The way I would see it as actually being legit is if the dude is/was either:

1. Guilty of something so he wants to break it off (for whatever reason)
or
2. Tried the relationship out (again, for whatever reason i.e. wanted to try something new, liked the girl and thought she'd grow on him but she didn't, etc.) and either he doesn't want to the relationship to go on further for fear of it ending even more badly with more time together OR he just wants out because he's tired of her

In either scenario the girl will end up getting hurt worse the longer the relationship goes on and the sooner its broken off the better.

#3 - I LOVE you...I am just not IN LOVE with you...

Can also be legit (not only have I felt this one before but its been done to me).

Keep in mind that there are different types of love people...if you know the difference between a protector/brother/sister and/or cousin type of love then you can understand what the hell this means.

Being IN Love with someone means the romantic type of love, boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancee/spousal etc.

LOVING someone can mean NOT JUST the romantic type of love (as stated above) but also that of a relative: sibling, cousin, protector, friend type of love.

Therefore, a person can LOVE someone like a little sister or cousin (protector) or as a great friend and not be IN Love with them as a girlfriend/boyfriend thing.

#4 - We can still be friends...

Usually goes hand in hand with #3 - same type of thing.

Its usually bull when there has been sex and then the dude wants out right away.
