At the SCFEO August Film Mixer / Reception on August 17, a discussion on the “virtual” future of film and television production will be discussed by Darren Frankel, President - Stargate Studios, with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages served, in an evening hosted by University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. Peachtree Village International Film Festival in Atlanta is presented by The African American Cinema Gallery (AACG) & Gipp. Museums, and showcases feature length films, shorts, music videos, documentaries, and screenplays from around the globe. During the festival’s run, August 19-22, for one of the slated panels, "Cast Me If You Can", panelists tackle the subject how to prepare for television and film auditions, followed by a Q&A. The film festival also plans to have special events for students and the community-at-large.
