So much has went on since I have updated. A lot of great and a lot of sad as well.

I'll start with today, today was relaxed. Joe had a nice long day in the shop.. on a weekend. He's working his tail to the bone but it's for the benefit of everyone. I'm so proud of him on a daily basis(not just blowing smoke)... not only do I love him to pieces but he is a hard worker and thus a great role model for all of our children. He still knows how to let his hair down as well.. in our better moments. I'm hoping for a big night of fun soon.

So what I did today was clean up the house while most of the kids weren't here and took some pics of Jack and I :) Jackson is six weeks today. I can't believe how big he is getting. He's now very alert and cooing and just adorable. He already knows how to wrap mom and dad around his finger.













He's sleeping through the night , he started that last weekend.. had two nights of confusion and is right back on track. goes to bed around 11:30 and is up at 7am. I could not be happier about that! But I'm still exhausted, it's taken a bit longer to get back to life after pregnancy and it's not even because he's a fussy baby or anything i'm just still adjusting to taking care of a house and so many kids at once. It's so rewarding but man oh man it makes you tired as hell!

Last weekend was a sad and different weekend. Went to Virginia and met all of Joe's family. They were really nice and friendly, wish we could had them finally meet Jackson on a different note. Joe's dad passed away and with that all his family were finally in one place for the first time in twenty years. He's one of 8!







Makes sense we have a big family to more now probably :P Some are adopted obviously but still a huge family. Each dealt in their own way and honestly it's been a bit rough for Joe I know but he's strong and doing much better now.

It was really quite romantic to see where he was raised, take drives down long roads that were painted with fall leaves.

Even the sand was a bit cooler than I thought, and I enjoyed the mini walk there.



Time was a bit tight I hope to go back another time when it's under different circumstances. We're talking about going back around the week after Christmas but it will be freezing then I'm hoping to hit it another time when it' not too hot but enough to go out and have some fun on the docks one long night :P


After virginia we headed home, seemed the ride home was so much longer but .. in reality it was. We had to keep resting. Coming home it was really a strange feeling. You know what I mean? Walking back in a house after being gone a few days. We got ready for Brandon-Averys birthday. He turned nine.. so now we have two 9-year olds.. an 11 year old,7 year old and a six week old. Some parts of that make me feel old but mostly it just makes me feel like thank goodness some of that is over and thank goodness for most of what is left. Bran recieved a lot of gifts he loved, we had some cake and his theme for his bday was CSI , he's a big science geek (thank god!) we put plastic flies on the cake and he got a CSI set that even has fingerprinting dust LOL.










The next day was Thanksgiving that we had here with some of my family here and all the kids. The food was good, the day was hectic (like most thanksgiving days are...) and we had a little chance to catch up and have a family game night and just chill out.






THe rest of this week has been a lot of Crown Cases (working).. a lot of leftovers (MMM MMMM) and a lot of catching up on house work and sleeping. Last night Jess and Chris dropped by to catch up a bit face to face, have some snacks and watch some movies/tv. I miss them to pieces and cannot wait until we , the three muskateers, can do a show .. the right way! . soon very soon.

Life is good, hearts are healing and dealing with loss but out of it there is new birth (jackson) and stuff to look forward to. I'm in love, my family is beautiful and healthy... and things can only go up from here. :)

Soon are a few great shows to go see. Lots of studying layouts and things (i'll talk about that later) and lots of cuddle and sleep time with my lovebugs... ALL of them .
