    Political Compass
I took the test at Political Compass that everyone has been taking. My "Economic Left/Right" score is -6.25 and my "Libertarian/Authoritarian" score is -8.00. This places me in Cartesian Quadrant III (Left Libertarian) with the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, and Jean Chretien. As far as I can tell, I am more to the left and more libertarian than both Mandela and the Dalai Lama (definitely of Chretien), but the charts they have showing prominent world leaders' scores omit the coordinate system, so I can't tell exactly. This quiz is pretty well constructed, though their web design needs some work.

In any case, it makes more sense than the World's Smallest Political Quiz, which has only 10 badly-worded questions. Most of them are constructed ridiculously enough that everyone who doesn't click "yes" (most people that go to the site do, since the site has linked to prominently by the Libertarian Party and other right-libertarians since about 1995) will just keep clicking "maybe" and wind up a centrist.

I'm in the same quadrant! The Galician people can rest of their freedom now.

But are you closer to Tenzin Gyatso or Jean Chretien?

I hate the world's smallest political quiz. It's HARD to even get out of the libertarian quadrant.

If I interpret the questions just right on the WSPQ, I wind up on the Libertarian/Left Liberal border. Centrist I am not.

How do you do on Political Compass?

Economic scale: -6.75
Social scale: -4.51
Looks like I'm closest to Ghandi and Nelson Mandela. Good quiz, thanks for sharing:-)
And I'm a left liberal in the WSPQ. That was kind of fun I guess.

You are in excellent company. The difference between us seems to be mostly a y-axis one. It probably lies in our answers to all those sex questions at the end, all of which I answered with either "strongly agree" or "strongly disagree." There I am definitely an extremist.

I don't know. I strongly agreed or disagreed to three of those five questions, I imagine the same as you. With pornography and our society's openness about sex, I was a bit more hesitant. I wonder what else we disagree on...there has to be more, our scores were significantly different. John Howard, Tony Blair, and George W. are in the opposite quadrant. It's sad for me, I wanted to agree with John Howard.

I wish there were a more convenient way to go back and look at the questions without taking it again. It's hard to tell.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 3.88
Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.92
So, fairly conservative, barely authoritarian. Closest to the guy in charge of Germany apparently.

Something interesting though, the quiz asked nothing about right to bear arms or defend onesself. This is so obviously british it's not even funny.
