anyone want to go swimming? fucksakes. luckily none of my stuff got ruined, mind you i haven't taken anything out from under my bed yet. i'm assuming that all is wet and wrecked. my roomate's son had been using the wet vac and was sucking up all the water and we put the dehumidifier in there to dry it all up, but i don't think things will be back to normal for another couple of days. so i'll go home on saturday and finish cleaning up the mess. currently, i'm in toronto. D and i went out to dinner and a show last night with J and R who are getting married in cuba in november. i can't wait for that trip. anyhow, as a thank-you for being part of the wedding, J and R bought tickets to see les miserables for us. the show was pretty amazing. i'm not usually one for musicals, but you can't deny the talent these people have. the set design was well done, the lighting and costumes were great, and the singers were awesome. tonight we're going out for sushi, and then going to see the corpse bride. i'm looking forward to seeing it. the last couple of times we've gone, the show has been sold out, so now that it's in the second week of showing, there should be more than enough tickets. anyhow, today i'll be hanging out in D's apartment while he's at work. not much to do here, but i'll find something to occupy my time. i bought a magazine last night, some crossword puzzles, and there's always the play station. it will be a day of lounging around and doing nothing. another thanksgiving will be spent at work. i think the last time i had thanksgiving off was three years ago. we decided to have a pot luck, because nothing will be open due to the holiday. no tim horton's, no cafeteria. the vending machines never work either. oh well, time to lounge.
