    Welcome me...hehe
Hi, I'm reading Misery right now... it's really an awesome book and I enjoy it a lot.
This is my first entry at this community... my online name (which is all you need to know) is Rigel and I'm from New York. I've read It, Desperation, Carrie, and I'm working on Dreamcatcher and Misery. Stephen King is the best. There's no-one like him. You can visit my blurty if you wish, but prepare yourself for utter randomness and strangeness.

I think Misery is my favorite... just because it's so much different than the others. I'm from NY too.

Misery was one of the few books that made a great movie. It's unfortunate that many of King's movies don't reach the viewer...but it is difficult to capture the "inner" stuff of the character like you can when you read the book. I enjoyed Misery very much and the movie ended up being just as powerful. I still cring when I see her break his leg...OUCH!
