Definitely one of the lesser known of mythical bests, the basilisk is described as having the head and legs of a rooster, the body of a serpent, and the wings of a bat (although there are wingless varieties). You were the blame of hundreds of thousands of deaths in the middle ages. Your breath and gaze is deadly. Hundreds of basilisk hunts were organized to get rid of you. The hunters would carry mirrors so that, if they encountered a basilisk, they would have it look in the mirror and destroy itself! Weasels were also reputed to be able to kill it, as they could resist it's deadly gaze. It was a potent symbol of death and in some cultures the embodiment of Death himself. In Christianity, the Basilisk was linked with Satan.

Hello everyone!
Contrary to popular belief, my blog is in fact *not* dead. It is alive and running, thus the reason why you are able to read it right now =). I guess I've made it hard on myself by not updating often because now... I feel that there is too much to say and too little time for me to say it. School is going fine, and I no longer have myself a gay-man posse and it sucks major dick at the current moment.........


HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA no. Not literally, I meant that metaphorically speaking. ^-^ My ass is tired from sitting and doing work. It just apparently wasn't made for this sort of strenuous work, HAHA. I'd rather be running in a football field =D, but thats just me. *whips out nice long athletic legs* -WA-POW!-

Suddenly... that scar on my eyebrow area hurt. That was weird. Is it bad to have random pain from a scar? lol... that seems like such an odd question. Man.. am I tired. *yawn*

Oh yeah... for those of you that notice that some of my entries suddenly dissapear, those have been made friends-only. LOL! (which means only kyra sees them ... hahaha). So that one rant about the hapa person I know is one of those. No, I didn't delete it. I just figured that it might be considered offensive, even though it shouldn't be. PLus she would have eventually read it had I kept it up and probably would have reacted all pissed off about it. But i just really felt the need to rant about it, because I think it's uncool to be so white-washed. She probably doesn't even realize it... but Blagh, enough of that.

Lets see, some of you popped out being jack asses about my previous entry. Since today I have time to update and talk about my recent outcoming, I shall reflect upon my findings in your human ways. First of all, some of you came out at me with a sort of "retort" about how I don't even bother drawing myself. What I have to say about that is, you are incredibly incorrect. MAYBE you just don't hang around me often enough to see me with a pen behind my ear and a sketchpad underneath my arm, AND you don't ask to see my work in the first place. Then there is how some people reacted bitchy over my criticism. DON'T SAY you like it if you can't handle it. And for those who I gave complements to, DON'T let those complements get to your head. It will only bring you down like a boulder latched to your foot when you're in the ocean.

I was surprised to find out how many people still check my journal out, yet only like... 4 people ever comment? Well... that is if I include the comments from my previous one. Thank you to my loyal fans that let me know they are out there. It's funny, because 10 people came up to me about the whole artistic deal, but I never before knew that they were even aware of my online journal. Kind of scary, eh? I guess I did a poor job of trying to hide this thing... but then again, I kind of wasn't trying. hah

Also, thank you to Kyra for being such the ULTIMATE asshole right now. Stop calling me if all you are going to do is bitch and whine about such immature shit.
