Well, I am back, once again. We went skiing for a few days, leaving poor Kevin alone to care for the babies, his parents and the house. When we got home yesterday the house was all clean. Beautiful.

Skiing was fun. This was Hannah's first time and she loved it! I always loved skiing in the Alps, so I am very happy that we got free passes for both days we paid for the room, so we only had to buy a pass for the first day there, which allowed us to actually get Hannah in a kids' class. She absolutely loved it, but I think for her the highlights of the trip were the snowball fight with Jim, skiing in the kiddie slopes with him, as well as building snowmen and drawing snowfamilies.

Sometimes I wish Hannah considered me more than a buddy. Maybe that would ease my longing for a child. I really want to have children, and today Jim and I visited a family law specialist. Jim and I started a foreign adoption process. This will be a rough ride, but maybe we will have a baby by next Christmas. Maybe not for years. The attorney encouraged us, the fact that we are American may help us find a baby sooner.

I remember, just a few months ago I was writing about how I was not ready for children, but then I had these precious months with the twins and Hannah and I realized that I do want to be a father. I want to reaise children.

We got home from skiing around 4 p.m. yesterday, and then Derek came home a little after 11 a.m. this morning! It was awesome to see him home....

I better get something to eat. I am starving. Will write more later!

	I am so glad you, Jim and Hannah had such a great time skiing. What a nice way to spend the holidays. I am also very happy for you on wanting children. I really hope that your wish will come true by the end of the year. What a Christmas present that would make. Make sure that Derek takes care of himself now that he is home. 	Well, we hope to actually have a baby that we can adopt by then. The fact that we are not picky--black, white, yellow, green, any color will do! Even some cute little gypsy (Romany) kid, who are usually hard to place. Just a baby. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
