For the sake of my SANITY! @.@
Oh sweet JEEBUS I just need to pry my eyes away from my notes and text for just a freaking moment!! Lol.. ^_^; I'm starting to "skim" over my work and that is something I CANNOT do now, so I thought a bit of a break was in order. *Takes an aspirin ~.~;* Though I'm horribly hungry again.... Gah... Maybe I'll have a small snack to ease my stomach. Can't work on an empty stomach after all! X) ...Mmm... one of those strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwiches sound awfully good right now... And yes, they are dietetic and very yummy thankyouverymuch. I think I'll go snatch one after this entry... X)
Well, when I had some free time today I sketched a bit. Trying to revamp my "Chaos" character [I still need a damned name for him... Hell, when I made him I had this same problem! And even after all this time I'm STILL at a loss] since I was digging through my really ANCIENT art [and I'm talking like.. 10 year old stuff here. *cringe*]. Heh heh, it's so damned funny to look at how he used to look. Face out of proportion, eyes out of alignment, ears standing up in a really impossible shape. *snicker* Thus far I'm actually quite pleased with the newer version of him... ^_^ I love his grin.. it's so eerie and evil [in my opinion]. And quite possibly the best improvement I've given him is pupils...Yes, something as simple as pupils... They're FAINT ones, but it makes him appear much more creepy compared to just solid colored eyes. Well...he still has solid colored eyes but I digress... Though I will say he looks less feline in this version and more canine... Hm... I'll have to incorporate something to make him a bit more cattish. Thus far he's like a mixture of...hm... a wolf, a lion [though less than before], a hyena, a snake, a german shephard, and...er..probably some sort of gargoyle-ish creature.... I still LOVE his mane [that's the hyena aspect of him], or rather his "mohawk" mane. It just makes him all unruly and feral looking... You can BET I'm coloring this when I finish. X) Tomorrow--er...today-- hopefully! And when I do, I'm going to post it and a few other pics I haven't displayed on my mini art page yet. Next stop, his human-ish form! ^_^ Maybe by then I can give him a damned name... ¬_¬;;; It's the least I can do for one of my oldest characters. Hmm... Perhaps I should revamp Eden ^_^ That sounds like fun...
...I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. I LOVE this song... I mean it just totally energizes me. *snicker* To the point where I just want to get up and dance like a moron [yes, I AM the epitome of white girl dancing at its finest]. I will admit, I thought it was decent when I first heard it, but the second/third time I listened to it, I just stuck the thing on repeat and I've loved it ever since. X) Though the only thing I don't care for in this song is a short part near the end where they go all BSB / N'Sync / name your annoying pop icon [no offense Bits ^_^;] for like two lines. Damn, if it didn't do that I think it would be a near perfect on my scale. And that says something for my standings on modern pop. ^_^ But man...when it hits the chorus [and I also love the segment before it goes into the chorus], I just can't help but nod my head to the beat and smile. Looks like Darren's right... ^_^ "Your problems don't exist when music feels like this"... *breaks out into song and twirls away to go work again*
