Easter and such..
So, for starters, Happy Easter everybody...even if it is a bit late.
On Wednesday, I flew to Minneapolis from New York to spend Easter with my wonderful, dysfunctional family. *laughs, smiles to herself* The weekend was really nice...I haven't been here in so long. Ben, my brother, and I were goofing off all weekend. He is so much fun. I really missed him. He is acting, too, and I think I might ask him to come and stay with me in New York for a while. Just to give him a jump start. *nods, chewing on the end of her pen, getting distratced by Trixie, then gets back to writing*
So, Saturday, I wanted to surprise Mark somehow, so I decided to buy him a round-trip ticket to Minneapolis for him, and I picked him up at the airport. So, he spent Easter with my family and I. They just love him. I hope he isn't scared of them. *laughs, remembering how goofy they acted when they were all playing cards* And, my daddy liked him so that's a good sign.
I get this feeling in my tummy, that I just don't want to leave Minneapolis yet. I missed it a lot. Trixie loves it here. *smiles over at her, playing with the family cat, Josie*
We have a beautiful cabin in Wisconsin, not far from here, with a lake and everything. I really want to go there with my family for a few days. That would really make me a happy camper. But, unfortunately, I can't stay for too long. I have to start getting ready for "Fearless" in NYC. If it even happens. *rolls her eyes, frustrated* Sometimes, I get really frustrated with my career. But...anyhow.
I hope everyone had a really nice holiday. Congratulations again, to Drew and Joey. I'm really sorry I didn't make it, but I'm really happy for you two. Have a great marriage together. *nods, sighing* Why is that everytime I write a long post, I get depressed?
*shuts down her computer, going off to visit with her family*
