    Day two...
Well, it is clear that Harper doesn't really want to win this thing:

What an idiot. I only hope that for his sake he can recover quickly. To be fair, he did propose a free vote, but I think any discussion of this topic is futile and will only serve to push voters back in the Liberal camp.

Now, on another topic, it seems that Liberal big-daddy Warren Kinsella is calling for the defeat of his own party.

Warren has been disaffected since the coronation of PM jr. This is no surprise but his arguments are extremely compelling.

Look for this campaign to get nasty very quickly. Also, tomorrow, I will feature the first of several riding profiles, which will cover my long-time home constituency of Saskatoon-Humboldt.

At first glance, Peter, I tend to agree with you about the idiocy of bringing his issue up. However, I think he's smart in doing this now. What we don't want is to have a protracted discussion on this in mid-January. Harper knows this will come up during the campaign. So let's get this issue out there and deal with it now. It's hard to argue with his specific stance - let the bill come up, let there be a free vote, and he will respect the outcome. Sure the liberal media will hit on Harper for a day or two - but rather now than in January.

I'm also glad this issue came up now. People will get to see what a BIGOT Harper really is, and why we don't need him for Prime Minister, not ever. A Prime Minister should speak for all Canadians, instead of trying to persecute certain groups of people. What a disgusting human being Harper is.
