DC and Marvel is again pitted against each other. Marvel showed its card via Spiderman 2 while DC with the Halle Berry starrer Catwoman. Marvel scored it big with Spiderman 2. It was able to fight off the "sequel jinx" that has been plaguing hollywood lately. Too bad for DC, Catwoman is a flop. Not even the oscar winner can save the cat. Oh wait, Halle is even a bad choice to play the title role.
Like a sinking ship, the movie too drags comebacking actress Sharon Stone to the bottom of the sea (she deserves a better movie than this one). Interestingly, Stone's role here is like her own life, a star about to lose its shine. Do not watch this movie, unless of course you want to see Sharon Stone put the final nails to her own coffin, and if you also want to see Halle strut her sexy curves.

Heard that there's a new Batman movie. Batman, go and save DC.

Also heard that Eric Bana (Hulk) is the new suave, chick magnet, James Bond.

Batman!!! Christian Bale!!! YUMMY!!! Hehehehe. And it's no longer a Schumacher film. So maybe no nipples on the costumes this time. Still, Schumacher one-upped Burton in one aspect: the gadgets and Batcar were trippy. Really trippy. Hopefully they will continue to progress in this area. Nolan's movies aren't box office hits, if i'm not mistaken, but they hit the mood really well.
But, hey. Good cast: Christian Bale, Ken Watanabe, Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, and Katie Holmes. Okay. I reserve judgement on the "good" part for that last name. hehehe. (Reply to this) (Thread) |
