I miss this place and all the activity that there used to be. Support board is great. For once, less then 100 greens. In fact, I think less then ten unless my eyes are deceiving me. It's discouraging to see my friend's page so empty.

I should start becoming more consistent with my posts again, even though is the only one reading, I believe. Where did everyone go? eek.

I miss the good ole days, we had a good team thing going on... what made me wander off? ...

[Soap box readied...]
The admins don't seem to care much about Blurty (correct me if if you think I'm wrong :)) .. but for example, paid accounts? ... it got fairly demoralising and disheartening to tell free users that paid accounts would be their only option for a custom style. It wouldn't have been so bad but for the fact paid accounts hadn't been introduced, more than that we didn't know when they were going to be.. and it seems, still don't!

Who knows if Blurty will ever get S2 or any other recent LJ code in my lifetime..
[.. removed Soap box]

Then, on top of that the site seemed to be very difficult to access for a while (last year).. connectivity issues of some sort - kinda made my mind up.

I still visit every once in a while (as evidenced by the fact I noticed this on my friends page heh). I'm over on LJ again now .. not that I do support there or update very often either.. but worth mentioning for reference :)

oh, I always did use my LJ, and I still do. It seems that LiveJournal is the only online journal that I can seem to continuously post on because it just keeps running.

I think the admins cared about Blurty to a certain extent but I also think that they just didn't have the funds to let the site build to something bigger then it is (or create paid accounts).

Well, you aren't that old, so it could happen if the site is still up. The connectivity issues were.. disheartening. I wouldn't be able to access my journal for hours and that was that one time that I couldn't even log in, and neither could everyone else.

I haven't visited for a few months and I just started again. I tried LJ support and I think I'm still trying, but there are so many people there that are quicker then I (God damn it). By the way that everyone seems to describe it, it seems that the people there are bitchy or highstrung or something. Or at least that's my interpretation of it.

Well, you aren't that old

Cheeky whippersnapper ;)

I always thought of LJ support a little like that, but it can't be that bad as a lot of the names seem familiar (Blurty borrowed a fair few at one point or another).. that said it's never really interested me as they don't tend to delve into the cust things I used to like doing. That and they answer too quickly for me, heh.

Drac's got involved with LJ support and is having fun with it, she tries to convince me to do it too, but I'm stubborn ;)
