    Current music:Ben Kweller - Falling

    Hey there
Well it's been an awful long time since I've been on here. So here's to catching up. Let's start with me and Katie. We got engaged on Dec 24th. I've been thinking about it for a while and I made the decision to finally show her how I feel. I took her up to the Independence gazebo at 10:30 on Christmas Eve and proposed. It was amazing. We're getting married next Dec 30th in Cleveland. Good Times! It's not like I haven't been tempted by anyone else, it's just knowing that katie's at home for me, for me alone that makes the difference. School is going ok, I have 1 more quarter filled with clinicals. It should be easy, but I still have 1 chem exam to pass before I can graduate. All of us have gotten real close, in fact, one of my buddies from class is going to be in the wedding. Of course there will be a drunken classmates table. if anyone reading this wants to come, drop me a line and I'll hook you up. Tim's the best man, he's as thrilled as I expected he would be.The other week, Katie and I were fighting (what else but about money). We were so into it, I thought about leaving. I went to class and came back still mad, but she met me at the door and gave me a hug. How could anyone be mad about that? Dad turned 50 last friday. It's getting too easy to make fun of how old he is! I felt really bad about not being there on friday, but we went out on saturday and it seemed to make him happy. I felt horrible that none of the other kids went out with him. But, everyone's got their own agenda. I can't wait to get out of Columbus, just 3 more weeks. I have the world's crappiest job down here. If you get sick in c-suckyville, go to OSU, none of the other hospitals can treat you. Scarey as it is, some people actually do trust me with a needle and I have no problem with that. But is it wrong not to trust the people training you? The other day, I had a patient in real trouble. I reccomended all this extra stuff to try not to intubate the patient. I come in the next day to find none of that had happened and the patient on a vent in the ICU. I hate it when you know more than the people you work for. Aww well, not my call, but it should be. It'd be really cool to hear how everyone else is doing. But I know, I know, nobody's got the time. Good point. Alright, catch ya on the flipside.........
