There's an easier way to code layouts than tables, my friend. DIV layers is where it's at. http://www.lissaexplains.com/html7.shtml

None of that messing with annoying opening closing new table row crap. Which, if you're seriously doing that in notepad, is pretty sweet.

this goes back to my comment about CSS.

As a programmer I have issues with the link above, though. It's a good starting point, but absolute positioning is a bad idea because of possible different screen (and window) sizes.

Cascading Style Sheets are where it's at. :D link

DIV + CSS = <3.

However, I've noticed that when I don't position things absolutely they look bad in IE whilst looking fine in Firefox, but that could just be because most stuff I do is on LiveJournal's overrides stuff, which messes everything up in general.
