the whole notion of "someone out there just for you" is something we WANT to believe. it shows promise. it keeps us hoping. it's what makes us go on with our daily lives... the hope that one day, we will meet the person of our dreams, and that we will then live happily ever after.
if we do get one love, and one love only, it is because we chose to do so. we cannot choose who we love, and so, we cannot count how many we decide to fall in love with. our hearts are tricky little pieces of shit (hehe), and it is completely up to us whether we follow it or not. some may be lucky enough to have one and only one love in their lives. they are lucky enough to meet THE person that early in their lives. but some people aren't as lucky. some people never experience love, and never meet the person at all. some people have one love. some people have two. and some people have none.
