PDA Car mounts on the cheap
You could spend US$30 and get a commercial Car PDA mount like the Arkon or else do it for much less yourself.

    Here are two options:

    1) Use a phone "telescoping" holder and bracket with suction attachment to your windshield. I then use a PDA case to attach to the bracket. Previously for my m515 I had a Krusel case with belt-clip and I just clipped the case one like so:

but now I don't have one for the T3 but I have an old PDAir case (no belt clip) with loose side plastic grips. So I modified it by sticking the plastic top of some old diskette container to use as the bottom for the PDA to sit on. The case is stuck to the bracket using double sided tape and further secured by taping the strap to the arm of the bracket.

    2) A cheaper option is to use some stiff wires and a cardboard backing. In this case I used the credit card holder from the old PDAir case. I got dobbs to help me put this together and stitch the wires to the case.
The end product is a case which you can hang on the aircon vents of your car:

Here are pics of the case it self:

Hey Alan...

Just gave it a thought.. and thinking of getting one of those mounts that you have. Where did ya get it at? The suction cup and belt clip holder.

Hard to find nowadays. I got it from a phone shop in Subang Square but it has since closed down (MuLan)
