AMERICA?S porn movie industry was shut down last night after a performer admitted he had tested HIV-positive.
Adult film star Darren James was given the devastating news on Monday. He had tested negative in three-weekly check-ups since 1998.

If they had some morals they wouldn't have to worry about HIV or AIDS.
The situation is no different to how the Aids epidemic spread, people sleeping around, multiple sex partners and believing they could sleep with who they want, when they want.
The porn industry is full of shallow people like that, they presume their actors/actresses or as I call them sex addicts won't sleep around outside of their 'work'.
With the way pornstars sleep around you couldn't be surprised what std they'd picked up.
A little off topic, I know, but I really detest such people.

Isn't that a extreme statement ..thats like saying all the "sex workers" on the streets are "I call them sex.........."
detest sin not the sinner ..I know very tall order ,but we sure can try .
Also if we write "them" off as shallow ************ all the things you said ,how come "prudent" society like ours leads the statistics in AIDS rise,So many Police (law and order Protectors) in India have passed THE VIRUS to their wives ... not to say about un-reported violence cases agains Women in India ,and female foetus elimination ,killing Girl child in Remote villages ...

It was meant to be an extreme statement, I am glad it was perceived that way.
Ours a "prudent" society? Heck its a billion miles away from being prudent.
OK tell me Mate, how does one punish a "sin"? We can try to minimise it, in the hope of eliminating it. Does that mean that the sinners are not to be blamed? If that were the case then there would be no sinners, just people who committed those acts.
As for the atrocities done on the women in India, or for that matter any where else on this plant, that’s terribly sad, but how does that justify girls working as sex workers. Yes one may argue that girls who are lured to the big cities and then forced to work hardly have a choice, but from what I am observing, of late its becoming more of a profession of choice than of force. I am sure you must be aware of the ways our students have devised to make a grand a night.
Legalising prostitution in India will only increase in spreading STD's, not to mention making room for a divorce as according to the Indian law, adultery is considered as grounds for a divorce.(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

What is Sin I really don't know ,but I still don't want to be judgemental about a person from what s/he does (I've been guilty of being judgemental myself).Eradication of Prostitution is as well a Utopian dream,after all its worlds first organised profession,which concepted & funded worlds first bank :-).
