I wonder.... if we're going to be getting any details about what actually happened? I'm sure I'm not the only curious one. Mind you, I'd never dream of asking a volunteer to actually enjoy helping people understand things, but perhaps the wonderful people who sail this ship will deliver a little status update down to the cargo bay.
(while i'm making impossible requests, i may as well get detailed: i'm a linux sysadmin, so any cool info you can provide w/out compromising security or the very little spare time you already have, would be really cool to see)
The Support volunteers really don't know much right now, and the sysadmins haven't said anything yet. So we're not telling rag jokes just for the hell of it; we'd say more if we could. Hopefully someone with some actual knowlege about the outage will enlighten the bunch of us. However, they might be stocking up on pads right now, so I can make no promises.
