    Abuse
The Abuse Team currently has 2 openings. We'll be accepting and looking over applications for the next couple of days, so if you're interested, apply away! Instructions on how to submit your application and what should be included can be found here: http://www.blurty.com/userinfo.bml?user=abuse .

Please take note that the Abuse Team has activity requirements. If you do not think that you will be able to donate at least a couple of hours a week to the board, then this is probably not the place for you to consider helping out. Abuse work can be frustrating and monotonous at times and funny and interesting at others. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it's not always fun. That's about it! Apply away!

Hi,
I have a question, not about this issue but about something else... I was curious as to what is going on with the Intrest features? Because for some reason my user info will not show my interests, not even when I go to edit my info. And when I do edit it, and add interests, it doesn't show up on my info page... Can you let me know what is going on with that??
Thanks,
Shannon

Me four. Ha ha ha! I'm a dork.

I've been searching around and couldn't find anything in the updates or the reports for answers. I'm not sure when it even started happening. They're very nice to have though, so I hope its fixed soon!

Excellent! I've just submitted my application. Hey, what's the deal with this news forum and the other administrative communities? Are any of them accepting member applications?

The news forum is where any official major news pieces or announcements are posted. These will usually consist of notices of fairly large-scale problems or announcements of things such as new features or the end of certain current features available to Blurty users. It is strictly a closed membership community.

All of the other officially recognized Blurty communities can be found in FAQ 113: What are the official Blurty communities?, along with short descriptions of each one's function here on Blurty. Many of these are open-membership communities (meaning you can join them at any time, without application) or communites where membership is based on certain things you do. For example, you can join blurty_hs at any time, but support will only grant you membership if you become a supporthelp priv in Blurty's support center.

All but a few of the communities listed in that FAQ will contain membership information/requirements within their userinfo, located under the "Bio:" section. Questions about membership to any specific community should be addressed to their respective maintainer.

No problem. And if you're bored and generally know what you're doing with Blurty, you could also just help out on the public support boards while you're waiting to join the abuse team.

Heh.. had to give the plug to ye olde boards ;-)

I'll do just that, I think. It'll earn me goodwill points, eh?

so... have you answered what's going on with the friend's pages yet? I haven't heard any news about it and it'd be helpful to know what's going on.

Much appreciated.

I know this has nothing to do with this post, but since this is been happening since yesterday afternoon, and there hasnt been a post about it yet, I think theres something wrong.

Whenever I try to login it says

[Error: Can't call method "do" on an undefined value at /home/literot/blurty/cgi-bin/ljlib.pl line 5793. ]

I remember something like this happened back in December, but there was a post here about it... So could someone clear this up for me? Whats happening? When will I be able to login?
