Perhaps there should be a little pop-up window notifying everyone of the known issues/upgrades/etc. so that we can be expecting problems. Or perhaps a page like status.blurty.com where we can visit if we ever want to know what's up. I'm sure it'd cause less trauma for the Blurty-o-holics.

That's why there is this little journal called news which you just so happen to be commenting on right now. When things are fixed you'll be told here.

Yeah, thanks for being helpful.

Well, obviously I know about the community. But have you seen the number of support requests, all about this very topic? I think about 50 a minute are being created "why am I getting this error?" "help, I can't log in!" "I'm going to drown myself in acid because my journal is read-only!" This isn't exactly one of those communities that people KNOW about. I myself found it because I just typed it in randomly to find some answers. What I was suggesting was just some sort of notice in addition to the community, so that people who don't/won't bother to check it will know that yes, Blurty DOES know there are problems and they're being worked on. It's not like it'd be so hard, you know. And you can try being decent, thanks.

If you actually looked at the front page once in a while you would SEE that it is actually positioned in the right place FOR HELP right next to support. Please don't tell me you are actually giving any of the 250 website issue posts myself, draconid or some of the other Support Help have had to answer, vindication. If you see one don't you think it is an ISSUE ALREADY... and move on. Thier absolute lack of brain power is not our fault what-so-ever. Yes, blurty knows it's aproblem, hence this post. It is not their responsibility if people can't see a very predominant link to the latest news about the site. I found draconid's response very decent, she didn't in anyway go off in ways that some would. It gets irritating after 293439874 set of people repeating the same question, and when they do get an answer.. guess what they do? Keep asking the SAME question.

Anyway, point to the story, news link is right there for anyone to grab, now lets hope half of the Blurty users can grow a single brain cell and use it! Should I throw in a disclaimer: I'm in no way flaming , stating the facts, and in-fact this is not harsh but truth. Take it or leave it.

Wow. One little suggestion and suddenly you crack open a can of Condescention Soup. It's ok, honey, I realize that you have some sort of "problem" "working" "with" "others", so I'll just leave ya alone now.

It's more like a problem "dealing" "with" "morons".
