the site has been temporarily updating since thursday nite, its now saturday nite. i can understand blurty needing to update their server.. but will this take all weekend? im an avid supporter of weblogging, and i have been with blurty for about two years. this site is always experiencing some sort of techniqual difficulties, at least from my point of view. i have been patient throughout its progression on the net. am i naive to ask for a little forewarning of blurty's updates? so instead of everyone on the site going *bonkers*, they could politely post a news bulletin, expressing the site's temporary hiatus. no need for comment. im just leaving my two cents in wonderment. <3 faery (Reply to this) (Thread)

I just don't get why everyone is so defensive of the websitepeople are allowed to complain thats why this part of the website was added. this isnt directed persoanlly to you...but to everyone... it would be nice if when people come to express their concerns, people dont jump all over them for it. Its hypocritical to say not to complain, when thats what your doing. News letter would be nice, i agree. It would lessen te complaints and give us a day/time when we *might* be able to go back on...thats all :-) No need to respond.....im not being mean im just stateing. 	What is the point? Have you even seen the support board. 95% of people DON"T READ THIS, and if they do, they ask the same thing it is giving the answer to. It is a free service, honestly everyone should be grateful it is here, and if there is a 1% down time, deal with it. oh and your statement "and i have been with blurty for about two years. this site is always experiencing some sort of techniqual difficulties" is technically false, seeing as how Blurty has been up and running for the public for little ove a year, and I have been with them since last October you on the other hand created your first journal on Date created: 2003-02-25 . Not only that, this is only the 2nd or 3rd time Blurty has been down for and extended period of time. So next time you make a statement make sure it is true. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
