Unexpected downtime this morning, Sept. 19th, 2003
Well, it looks like Hurricane Isabel beat up on our bandwidth provider. Either that, or we just had some bad karma we needed to get rid of this morning. Whatever happened, we're back now and everything looks normal again. If we figure out exactly what went wrong (it was definitely a connectivity problem, not servers), we'll try to let you know.

	Well, my blurty doesn't work. It's been down since the hurricane, and it still is. The weird thing is, I'm in Michigan, and my blurty is the only one that's not working. Either your overrides or the css/html in your journal style. If you open a support request under the customization tab, a volunteer will be able to view your overrides/style code and let you know where and if there is a mistake and how to fix it. Your journal itself is fine, and the problem with it not appearing isn't a server issue since your background image and some of your code is showing up when I look at your journal. I can also view source and see the html making up your webpage, but I'm not as well versed as the other volunteers who will be able to better locate the piece(s) of code that are "breaking" your journal :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I go to update my journal and when I do it doesn't show up on my recent entries page, but then when I go back to edit it it has it there. It does show up in my history also, but just not on my recent entries page. Are others having this problem also? (Reply to this) (Thread)

I can see your entries. 28th September 2003 5:42pm: blurty is being stupid I don't get it... I keep updating but they won't show up. When I go to edit though it shows that I have update and when I edit it it shows up, but if I log off and come back it is gone. It will show up on my history (calendar view) but not on my recent entries. If this shows up... are you guys have the same problems. This is news. It's an announcement community. There are plenty of official blurty endorsed communities up and running specifically to answer member questions as well as assist them in journal customization. 	I feel very dumb asking, but...... I was trying to sign up for blurty personals and was mystified. Where would I find a promotional code and/or a gift certificate? If I already have a blurty id, can't i just get on personals; are they different, in other words? 	Is this News site ever updated any more? I am getting loads of "page not found" and "cannot connect to remote server" errors when trying to access Blurty. On times when I can get in, pages are so slow to load I can go off and make coffee while I'm waiting. It's been getting much worse over the last 2 weeks or so. What's going on?
