Maybe this hasn't been brought to your attention as whomever is *helping* on the *ask a question* forum is absolutely no help, but many people are having problems logging in and staying logged in. This is NOT a cookies issue as I have several journals for an RPG and only one is having that problem. The problem seems to be on your end. An acknowledgement of a problem and at least a mention that you are trying to solve it would be nice.

I'm also having the same problem. I hope it gets fixed soon. I don't know why it affects only certain journals but I would like to know why mine is one of them.

My guess is that is just affecting journals on certain clusters/servers. Like I said, some of mine are screwy and others aren't. Some acknowledgement from Blurty would be nice though.

The same problem has been happening to me and a lot of my friends are having the same problems. A lot of them including myself are thinking about leaving blurty all together due all these problems that have been showing up. So please fix this ASAP.

yea ive been thinking about it too. seems like the people who are supposed to be helping out to IMPROVE the blurty status arent doing much. and if they are, it would be nice if they let us know.

Support volunteers, those who spend their own time helping users with support problems or inquiries, do not have a role in the actual operation of the server. Those who do are aware of the problem and are working on fixing it. Information about this has been posted in http://support.blurty.com where you can read more or discuss this problem.

This is a news community and you're not going to get an answer here. The reason support requests are not getting a definite answer is because they're not yet sure what exactly is causing the problem and they don't want to ignore the billion requests asking the exact same question.

Not to sound to horribly bitchy, but why then give out a solution that doesn't work, and not at least make a post acknowledging that there is a problem.

I, and I'm sure everyone else as well, would be less pissed if a simple post had been made over here lat night saying "Yes, we know there is a problem and we are trying to pinpoint the cause and find a solution. We're sorry about all the inconvience." That's simple common courtesy.

If this is the way the owner(s) plan to run this site, it won't ever be a successful as it can be. If you get no support, why freaking pay for it (assuming the paid accounts option will ever be availible)?

A little common courtsey and common sense would go a long way in situations like this.

Too bad you chose to use neither.

Okay, the point is that it has been answered, many, many, many times in support, not giving a solution - but telling people that it is a tech issue that they haven't found the cause of yet and that they are working on it. This is a news journal. Tech support has it's own official blurty community where it can and should be discussed. Yes it could have also been mentioned here but it wasn't.

It's not hard.
