Will Blurty be requiring a birth year to get an account? Many free users I've encountered are clearly underage (talking about high school, etc.) but because they don't list their age or birth year, they can't be reported.
With the way they wrote, I severly doubt they were late starters/held back, etc. But I can't report them without a year or age anyway. And yes, people will lie, but a lot of them probably won't.
Looking at the stats, yea, a lot of people don't lie.
And writing isn't always a valid judgement, I found a "kewl lyke totally" person who'se a college student, at the same time, I know lots of older teenagers who type completly correctly.
Some of them mention their age in their journals. Most under-18's like to announce their birthdays, particularly when it they are turning 16 and can start driving.
I know there are a lot of 18 year old seniors (I unfortunetly, was not one of them) but there are very, very few 18 year old freshmen-juniors. And if the people I found were seniors, I have lost a lot of faith in the American school system. ^_^
