The TOS are there for a reason. If you lie to gain an account then you have broken the TOS. Simple as that, in my opinion. As it says in the TOS: "Failure to comply with these TOS may result in account revocation."

The admins/site owners are being extremely lenient in allowing the EA accounts to continue. But they are in a tricky position, as it can be argued that the TOS always said 'Over 18', yet they allowed EA accounts to be created and kept by 'Under 18's'. Free Users were always going to think that isn't fair, as the TOS haven't been consistently followed by the site admins/owners.

I believe that all underage accounts would need to be revoked to show a consistent stance on the TOS. There are many other journalling sites available and the majority of users [under and over 18] have accounts on at least some of them.

That's why I suggested that specific titles or account designations be created for those 18- individuals who provide essential services to the site.
