you can't always get what you want
Excatly. The owner/admin of this website stated in THIS NEWS ARTICLE that we're all commenting on that they have already made their decision. I didn't get my way, I didn't have an opinion about the policy.
I do however, support whatever decisions they make in regards to the website that they spent the money and resources to purchase, build, host and open to the public. They picked their rules for a reason. They've now announced that they're going to begin enforcing the rules since they have the staff to do so.
The people who are so bent out of shape about this are the people who are throwing the biggest fits. Throwing fits isn't the way to argue your case for staying on a website who's owners prefer a more mature member-base.
