And as for the "teenage community... has the most interesting events" comment, I find that banal discussions about how mommy and daddy won't let their 14-year-old daughter get a navel piercing and sleep with her new boyfriend in their house tend to get a little grating after a while. The teenage community, as you call it, is largely in high school. To you younger people, who have not experienced anything beyond that, it may seem incredibly interesting. I guarantee that most adults find that high school was nothing compared to what they experienced afterwards.
At 23, having gone through grad school, having lived in other countries, and having seen things that I couldn't have imagined in high school, I think I have a fair understanding of the situation.
