Oh, and another thing: I also think the limit on friends is not a good idea, 5 (or 10) is not much, you easily get 10 friends, and considering how many people made their journal friends only the friends list is essential to keep Blurty interactive (by that I mean commenting and discussing things with friends). I don't think a limit should be imposed on the friends list. I would be very unhappy about it if I had only a Free account, and furthermore as far as I know neither LJ nor DJ have that limit, so why does Blurty? ♥ Love, Lifehouse & Strawberries ♥
Blurty is Blurty, but Blurty seems to not be accepting our money so we can have more than ten friends. I would seriously suggest extending the early adopter to reach until the date that money *is* being accepted and paid accounts are no longer a myth.
I agree. I started out with very few friends, but my list grew and I feel like their comments really help sometimes. I understand that each server is different and unique, but this limitation seems a little strict.
Well, I think a limit of 45 would be ok, I mean I don't even have 45 friends, but 10 is reached so soon, especially when you are in communities as well. I don't know for sure about DJ, cos I am not there, but I know someone who had a free account and lots of friends so I assumed the limit wouldn't exist, but if it is 45 yeah that explains it, she has like 25 or so.
I switched over here from DJ because one of my friends uses blurty (she suggested it not knowing I wouldn't have all of the perks that she does) I was hoping to find a better place and more options. Instead I found a limit of 10 friends which I quickly (and unawarely) filled within a couple days. This greatly upsets me. Neither LJ or DJ have limited friends lists. Also it does limit the interaction with other Blurty users thus making this site quite private. That's why people have private journals, so that no one reads them. My journal is friends, so I would like all of my blurty friends to be able to read them, not just 10 of my blurty friends. Honestly, I think this is a completely stupid idea. I am very mad that you went through with it.
ok i had a early adapter account before and i had alot of my friends on that, and when i wanted a new username for blurty i signed up and got the free user account and the limit on friends is unfair and i believe that there should not be a limit on the number of friends also.
Now I don't have a free user account, but if I did I would be pretty upset about that. By having people with free user accounts limited to only having so many friends listed my just stop it from growing as much when Blurty is obviously trying to get more service.
