I'm not complaining about the rules. I'm trying to explain that teenagers are not the only ones having fun with RPGs. And I agree RPGs about Mary Sues are just... weird, but I guess even Mary Sues can be entertaining to some people.
Also, blurty.com exists because it has users and users will only buy paid accounts if they're happy with the service. Right now, I wouldn't buy a paid account, because a) the servers are too slow to use Blurty as the site for my main journal b) the administrators don't seem to listen to their customers. I have enough early adopters accounts for the RPG, but I wouldn't use this site for my main account, because it's just not reliable enough at the moment.
Everyone is complaining. But if you want to complain about our 18+ rule then why not complain about changing the legal drinking age. I also think werid is a good word to describe Mary Sues.
Blurty.com exists because hardworking people such as Miaow, Bertho, Tempest, Silverraven, etc. The users are here to enjoy it. And if that means enforcing a rule some may feel unjusts, then so be it. The servers are not slow (and they'd be a hell of a lot faster without Little Suzii and her 50 pointsless hoard journals.

I never complained about the 18+ rule, I think it's a great rule. I won't complain about the drinking age either, it's 16 where I live! :D
And yes, the servers ARE slow. Much slower than deadjournal.com or livejournal.com. I won't even start about the e-mail servers, I often don't get the Blurty comment e-mails until about a day after the comment was posted.
Bah, its 21 here. If they change it again i'm beating them with spaghetti! And no they really aren't. Aside from the fact that Blurty can be pms'y, they are fine. Its a free service: DEAL.
