Uh, did you miss the part where you signed up that stated this site was for 18+? Or the description of the site stating it was an 18 and over journalling community?
Did you even read this News post by one of the owners? You have an Early Adopter account - he specifically said users between 13 and 17 who are Early Adopter accounts will be allowed to keep their journals and only those signing up after Free Accounts were implemented would be bound by the 18 and over rule.
