    Ballet is crazy, trust me.
So, the last two episodes of “The Fades” were quite dark, which I liked just fine. Time has proven again and again that I do love a story that isn’t afraid to go all out when it comes to extreme situations. In some cases, it can go too far, but generally, I’m digging anything that has the guts to embrace darkness. Also, if you can get me to care enough to cry for the characters on screen, you’ve definitely hit one of my buttons. I totally didn’t expect Neil to go batshit crazy like he did or kill Paul’s girlfriend. He might have survived the Fades, but Paul might not be so forgiving. He’s got his plate full with the impending apocalypse though.

I watched the above episodes about three weeks ago; I just haven’t gotten a chance to write about them. Not sure why I’m avoiding writing in the journal lately. Today’s going to be rough because I only got two hours of sleep this morning, I even went to bed early, but did I go to sleep like I usually do? No, of course not, that’d be too easy. I laid there for two hours, trying to count down in order to slip into oblivion, but my body wasn’t having any of it. So, my eyes hurt, I’m damn tired, and I don’t want to take a nap because that’ll just screw my sleep schedule to all hell. Why did I get up at 8 AM? I had my last dental appointment.

My dental student got the last cavity filled, but it did take seven shots to completely numb up the tooth he needed to work on. He was prepared for it this time though. ^_^ I’ll be sore in the next coming days, but at least I don’t have to go back for six months. Hopefully, my hopped up dental care will keep my mouth healthy so I don’t have to have anything else filled/drilled/or worked on beyond a cleaning. I’ll probably either read or watch the rest of the evening with intervals of working on the puzzle we brought up from the basement. So much easier to do when you’ve got it near the TV. ^^ I don’t really want to get into anything else so that’s it for now.
