Fuck off, tornadoes.
Holy fuck shit, last night was scary. Tornado warnings for more than two hours, sirens, and me all alone in the house. >_< After I made dinner while watching a progressively darker sky, I took my plate of food into the basement and corralled all the pets downstairs as well. I tried watching stuff On Demand, but weather warnings kept cutting it off, and finally, I just switched between news stations until the warning was changed to a flash flood one. I de-stressed from the experience by making desserts (yummy raspberry lemonade bar) before watching CW and then taking a shower (when I could hear no more thunder). Parents came home, and each were given huge hugs. I do not enjoy experiencing extreme weather alone; it freaks me the hell out. I have absolutely no control over it, and that’s the scary part.
So, anyway, today was library, which was good. Mum remembered the camera so I took pictures of the bookshop, and then did my section and Umi-chan’s. There wasn’t much in hers, but I did take the expensive graphic novels I found to put them online. We dropped by Da’s work so he could drops his keys off then killed time at Cin-chan’s apartment until we went out to eat at Bagger’s Dave. I was the cheapest, muha ha ha ha! I’m just not that wild about sloppy joes to go for a high-end version. We had dessert at Whole Foods afterwards (still no hazelnut cake? Bummer!) before going home while I got online and did the rest of my surveys. So, now I’m off to watch “Supernatural” and most likely read for the rest of the evening.
