Poor Vincent van Gogh.
So, I’ve got the evening to myself. Thus far, I’ve taken a bath, watched a bit of TV, then some “DW” extras and now I’m online for shits and giggles. I needed a break from staring at the idiot box even with David Tennant’s lovely voice keeping my interest. What I don’t understand is where these mythical outtakes are located on the DVD sets. I’ve found not one of them though the back of the set says they exist. I think it’s mocking me, and it shall pay! With what I’m not sure yet because I wouldn’t intentionally damage the sets, so verbal threats will have to do for now. Yeah, sorry, just a little nutty at the moment. Listening to some “Initial D” music and amusing myself far too easily. No wonder the pets are keeping their distance. ^_^
So, yeah, it’s almost 2012. A lot of things happened, but I’m still in the same position I was last year, more or less. No resolutions to make other than find the balance between happiness and health. It’s eluded me very much, and I’d like to fix that. I’m almost done with the fifth season of “DW” and I’m not ashamed to admit the episode “Vincent and the Doctor” made me cry my eyes out. Vincent’s reaction to his gallery of art was damn touching. It’s easily my favorite episode of the season. Unless the finale packs a bigger emotional punch, it just depends how attached I get to Matt Smith’s Doctor. With that, I’m off to watch a movie or write, whichever turns out to be easier.
