Top Albums
Sorry I havn't posted in a while. I've been really busy.
Ok, so time for a new subject. This time it is..... Top Albums. What are you favorite 5 albums, and why? Mine are:
5. Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine. My first nin album. Although it's a bit too electronically influenced for it's own good, over all it's my favorite halo. It's a perfect soundtrack for when you just broke up/somehow got screwed over and want sulking music.
4. Ben Folds Five, The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Mesner. The second album by BFF that I bought. It's more toned down I think than Whatever and Ever Amen, and I can listen to it constantly for a long time before I get sick of it.
3. Radiohead, The Bends. My first Radiohead album, and probably my favorite to date. It has Fake Plastic Trees, which is the song that got me to LOVE radiohead. Overall it's a wicked good album, and nice to listen to after smoking pot & when youre on a mellow high.
2. Ours, Distorted Lullabies. One of my 'original' CDs that I got around 8th grade. The music is just beautiful, Jimmy Gnecco's voice is amazing, and I don't think there's a song on there that I don't like. That got me into slightly darker music than before.
1. Matchbox Twenty's Mad Season. I got it in 8th grade, and it got me to really get into music. Think of it as a "first crush" type thing, except music. After this, I started seriously listening to & getting into music. It also changed the type of music I listened to; it brought me from B*Witched and Weird Al to the Goo Goo Dolls, Ours, Ben Folds Five, and basically most of what I listen to today. I also had a huge crush on Rob Thomas, but that's another story. It will always hold a special place in my heart and in my stereo.
