Emo: (as defined by Shari) A type of music. Awesome. Positively awesome. Mostly sad songs, but some which are filled with hope. Generally peaceful. "Emo" is short for emotion (which is dumb by the way, ALL music expresses emotion). Usually written by the band, directly from their experiences, very honest. It's rare to find a cover song.
Emo: (as defined by people who are fed up with the rash of emo bands that have recently begun breaking out on the music scene) A type of music, a lower class though. A bunch of pussy-whipped guys whining in high-pitched voices about how their girlfriend is cheating and their parents disowned them ... blah blah blah ...
As you can see, it's quite a controversial topic. You either love it, hate it, or don't know anything about it.(Reply to this) (Thread) |
