HOUSE ELF NOTE to Remus Lupin
Dear Remus,

In the light of recent events, I think it would be best for me to be away from Snape Manor, and the Gatehouse and you when you undergo your change this month. The elves have been alerted to your condition and the times it will occur. I will be going to stay with Severus at Hogwarts for a short time. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask.

I hope all goes well with you my friend. You will always be in my heart, and my thoughts.

Remus glanced at the note, read through it and sighed. He looked awfully tired, as always, but dreadfully more so because of the time. Within the next night he would undergo his horrible transformation. And as always....he would be alone. "Very well....very well" He muttered placing his hand against the table to brace himself as he was jolted with pain. He heaved a great sigh, and sat carefully on the chair infront of the burning fireplace, tossing the note into the flames. He thought another long moment, before moving to the desk and writing a reply note to be delivered to Sirius and Severus at the school. Dear Sirius, and Severus - I hope that your holidays go well. In liu of the full moon within the next nights I will remove myself from the gate house to spare its contents. I have established a place for myself to be contained where I will do no harm, nor will I be seen, or put anyone in danger. I've sent along my personal holiday gift to you both. Happy Christmas. ~Remus Remus folded the note carefully and attached it to the owl that was sitting by the window. He offered a bit of steak from his dinner to it, and smiled, petting it gently as he then tied up a carefully wrapped package. The owl with the letter fluttered off, and three owls soon came in to pluck up the parcel. Inside the package there was an old year book, from when Remus, Sirus and Severus were in school. Two pages were marked: The Gryffindor page where James, Peter, Sirius and Remus were pictured, as well as the Slytherin achievement section, where Severus was pictured. Along with this book there were others. Remus' favourite novel that he used to read constantly, it also being the one that Sirius could never understand why he read so often - "Hairy Snout, Human Heart"....There was a folder of sheet music, and a tiny note tucked away with it: When you come home, if you like I will play this song for you both.... There was a wrapped parcel of scones, a few dungbombs, some chocolate, wet start fire crackers, and tons of other toys and candies from Hogsmead, but some of the toys looked years old - from when they were still in school together. Remus couldn't think of a better gift than the few happy memories he had...it might not be the best gift to them, and it might not be liked, but he thought it fit... The owls plucked up the parcel and headed off to deliver it, leaving Remus alone once more. He had been wearing his shabby robes for most of the day. He plucked up the key to the gate house, tucked it into his pocket, and headed out after locking the door. He had sent an owl to the main house for the House Elves letting them know he would be away from the gate house, if they wanted to clean it up. It also wished them a Happy Christmas. With that he headed towards the woods, to isolate himself from the world for the next few days.... [I'm so sorry I haven't been online T_T; I've been uber busy, and I've had lots of company recently because of the approaching holiday. I hope you all have a wonderful and Happy Christmas! I myself am quite excited about my upcoming birthday (to be specific it's tomorrow....the 18th)...wow...I'll be 20...I will try with in the next few days to be online. I'll be on most likely on the 19th or the 20th to the 22nd because those are the only days when no one will be here aside from myself.
