First...stop being so self-centered. Second, if you haven't already - stop bothering Jason's family...just shut the fuck up. Third, please stop being gay - your life will be better for it and perhaps you can even refrain from spreading around disease. Lastly, please try and not kill anyone again - at least not in such a sophomoric, irresponsible fashion.

Blake--keep you head up, and don't let anyone destroy the memory of what you and Jason had, with such petty attempts of hurting you.
I'm so sorry this situation turned on you like this. I lost a very good friend in a car accident, as well. It was later to be proven that it was at the fault of the driver sitting next to him. Forgiveness.....nothing else will heal.
Jason's parents and friends will never know complete peace with you sitting behind bars for an accident.
I believe in you.

Oh please...you have got to be joking. He pleaded guilty in a court of law to basically jerking the wheel while the car was in motion. Nothing has "turned" on him; he doesn't even express real remorse here in his journal which, by the way, lead to his plea. He killed a young man in stupid indifference and continued to write horrificly narcicistic posts degrading not only the driver of the vehicle, but Jason's family as well.

Losing Jason was punishment enough. Not even 100 years in prison could match that. Blake was not expecting or prepared for what happened that night. One can only hope he is given the minimum sentence and be allowed to go on with his life. As far as insensitivity? Try remaining cool-headed after losing your soul mate; It's not as easy as you think. Say what you will, but you can't deny how much Blake meant to Jason. I'm sure if he were alive now, he would not want any of this to be happening to Blake.

So... Let me get this straight. Hope y'all will excuse me 'cause I'm still a little unsure of the facts, I read a few news articles from a Google search and the blog, here. Correct me if I've got anything wrong. Blake was in the back seat, Jason and Nicole were in the front. Blake was underage, and legally drunk. Nicole was driving, was tested, and was not under the influence of alcohol. Blake says he doesn't remember what happened, Nicole says Blake grabbed the wheel and caused the accident. Another friend, Rae Ann Williams (quoted in the Orlando Sentinel (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/orl-duiblog2005dec20,0,7538553.story?page=2&track=rss) who was driving Jason's car and following them, saw Blake up between the front seats just before the crash.
Blake claims that: a) he didn't do it, Nicole was lying, and b) he doesn't remember what happened, he'd blacked out.
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but, if you've got a situation, and one person can't remember what happened, I'd have to say that, given that Rae Ann had no reason to lie, and was in a position to see what happened, it makes sense to believe what Nicole said happened.
Blake's recent posts claim that Jason "hated" Nicole... but I read back a bit to his 9/14/04 entry, titled "Green Eyed Monster" which starts off with "Okay, I gotta get some shit outta my system: I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO tired of Nicole and Jason's little best-bud relationship. I'm so sick of it, I can't friggin stand it." Gotta to admit, I'm a little confused by the contradiction, there. Can anyone point me to Nicole or Jason's blogs, if they're still up, I'd be interested in seeing the other side of this story.
Tragic, that underage drinking caused the loss of Jason's life, Nicole's injuries, and Blake's life to be messed up.
Like I said, I'd be interested in reading the blogs of the others, if they're still up, but from what I can find, looks to me like a kid with no sense caused the accident, and has fallen straight into the "everyone's out to get me, it's ANYONE's fault but mine" attitude.(Reply to this) (Thread) |
