The kids are coming back Sunday instead of Tuesday. I really miss them, so I'm glad. From now on, I need to schedule my "me" time for when they are here and Squeeze can watch them - that way maybe I can get to see them when I get home. Don't get me wrong - I've really needed a break lately - just to get enough sleep and take long wandering walks alone (only short walks with the wee ones - little legs get tired). I've had my break now, and it has been very refreshing. I have thought, written, and sketched. I have slacked off. I have bathed regularly. I have read whole books at a sitting (admittedly, some were comics...). I have seen all the internet I wish to see for awhile. And best of all, Squeeze and I have spent more time together, and I feel rejuvenated. Now I'm bored, and the kids need to come home. I think that we will all get along better now, and maybe we won't get stuck in the same ol' rut we were in before.
Apparently they went to the beach yesterday and my mom FORGOT HER CAMERA!!! She's so silly sometimes. This is Mijo's first ever trip to the beach, and he loved it. He hates the wading pool, though. The girls picked the beach twice over the dinosaur bones at the museum (I think they are supposed to go again tomorrow)- so that's saying something. If the grands had known that, they would have saved some money on special outings.
