    last week
It's been awhile, but it's been a busy couple days. The last week of classes was a bit crazy, with two tests, beat paper, and the ssj event. And amazingly, it all got done. The beat paper went pretty well, as did the philo test. For SSJ I don't think I've ever stapled as many ribbons as I did that day, but it was fun.

And then after the last epic class on friday Ryan drove me to Ligonier to meet Jess where she babysits and we left for DC. It was so much fun. We met her mother and sister Ellie in Johnstown and followed them down to Maryland to meet Rebecca and go the rest of the way. The hotel was just awesome, even after I fell flat on my face in the parking garage. Ouch. The next morning we got breakfast at the hotel and went to look at monuments. I had never been to the area before, so it was really interesting to see. We had originally planned to recreate Forrest Gump and have Jess and I splash through the water in front of the Lincoln memorial, but the water was pretty gross, ha. And anyway, there were a lot of ducks I'd disturb. There we met one of Jess's friends from her trip to Poland, and she was really sweet. I went shopping with the Comptons in Georgetown, where Jess and I discovered $700 dresses to buy. Too bad I didn't find any I liked. And finally we went to the Lush store to get some of the best beauty products out there. It was great.

And after a great trip, it was time to head back to school and actually take some tests. I've only had one so far, and it wasn't bad. Just two more and a paper due, then I'll be done. I'm happy about that, but sad at the same time. With so many people graduating, it'll be so strange without them on campus next year. It makes me really sad. I'll miss them all so much. Until next time.

    The adventure continues...
