The Basement Club
My friends have been rather upset lately that I don't write anything in my journal except for the occasional recipe. They don't understand that I have no real life. I'll attempt to start discussing some stuff that's going on in my life other than dinner. Well, I did make some Baked Ziti tonight but it didn't turn out so good so we won't discuss that.
Tonight Laura, Mandie, and me held our second meeting of the basement club where we sit around in the basement with lit candles and we talk about random stuff. Normally I'm not a big fan of sitting around and talking, but I've found this activity quite fun. Today Laura shared some interesting facts that she found on the internet. Then we asked our usual questions to find out more about each other and ourselves. I thought we'd run into some problems when we discussed what we thought were each others good and bad traits, but it actually worked out quite well.
Our homework is to make a soundtrack that would represent our lives. We're going to burn the songs to cd's and then listen to them while taking a road trip.
Quote of the Day:
Mandie (while discussing my bad trait): "You're a doormat." me: "I'll accept that."

The basement club actually sounds like fun. And the homework assignment I love. A road trip with good music. woo hoo. (Reply to this) (Thread) |
