    Current mood: bored

What a great beginning to a new school year. The first couple of days of school have been great.

-- He nodded to himself in agreement, scratching the back of his head as he brings his hands to the keyboard once again to start typing. --

The kids have been somewhat respectful for me as my first day of teaching. I know kids expected not to have any homework on the first week of school, but guess what? I gave them an unexpected assignment. A very good one, in fact. It was an essay on what moment in history had affected them the most. One of the outstanding papers I had read was by Talia Monroe. Her paper stood out from the rest of the class because she had actually taken time to write her paper and use detail and whatnot. Very impressing for second day of school work, especially after being on summer vacation. One thing that stood out on her paper was that her friend had died during the attack and it had changed her perspective on life completely. That's what I liked about the paper. It seems as if she had matured after the incident; more or less opened her eyes to gain a new perspective on life if you would call it.

-- Eyes looked over at the paper next to him at the " A+ " making with a circle around it. --

But other than that, the kids have been really good. Some girl even came up to me and asked me if I was a new kid. I don't think I look that young now, do I? Of course not. Anyways, it's been a long day and I think I'm going out to this new club that opened up two nights ago and get drunk. Good night Dover.

-she smiled a bit, reading over his entry-

You're far too kind Mr. Stanton, but thank you for the compliment.

And what about Miss Hertz? I'm guessing you're in one of my classes as well, hmm?

-- Smirks slightly, completely amused by her comment. -- Don't you look for students for being friends? Or are you wanting to be my friend just so you can try to pull an A in my class?

*thinks to herself* Why, this man is challenging me!

I would prefer to think of myself as a friend to all. *nods* As for pulling an A, in your class, I think Ive already done so... Without the aid of wonderful skills in brown-nosing. *grins triumphantly*

Mr Stanton...I would sort of like to talk to you about something...

I know this is none of my business... Well, I would think it is... Because Liyah is one of my close friends, and I would hate to see her get hurt here... It is really hard for me to say this, and I keep having to pause and choose my words carefully so as not to offend you or anyone else for that matter. But this discussion involves solely the wellbeing of my good buddy there, and I am putting aside any grudges that I might have because of that D that you gave me... *side whispers* Dont worry... Am not scarred for life about the D *winks*

Anyways... I may have mentioned this once, but I feel the need to stress it. I mean you no harm nor embarrassment, so if I do so, please forgive me. I do not mean to publicly raise this issue, but I do believe that it has made quite an impact on my friend Liyah. She has taken the matter to heart, and well she looks for something with in. I guess what Im saying is... She is just not a one-night-stand, good Sir. She is looking for something more, and perhaps you are it... Its something that she might want to try... And maybe something you might want to try... Im not sure, but I wont stick my nose in it any further. All Im suggesting is, dont treat her as simply a body that you use for one night, but consider her human. Every girl looks for something more in a guy, and not just a night of passionate sex. I should stop...

*side whispers* Im butting in on this, because there is something in it for me. *nods andsmirks to herself* La dee da dee da...

But seriously... Consider your actions here

-- Eyes look over the comment carefully as he raises an eyebrow, an amused smirk forming over his lips as he bites down onto his lower lip, not being able to contain his laughter. --

You put a good argument, Miss Hertz. Bravo for your attempt on changing my mind on the subject of matter. Because, well, congratulations, you have done it. But let me try to put an argument to the whole situation. How good would it look on the both of us to have a teacher student relationship? Especially if it's out in the public? How do you think people are going to feel? And for Miss Montero, why can't she bring it up to me? She's the one who kissed me last night. Anyways, bravo on the argument, Miss Hertz. I will further look into it and have a talk with Miss Montero soon.

And what do you get out of it?

I shall do just that.
