Someday you will find me, slipping beneath the land slide
Today I commenced to wake up around 5:30 AM because I had a competition for All-Stars. The competition was in Rhode Island at URI, in that stadium/civic center thing they have. It was a Nationals competition and the teams that earned the designated amount of points for qualification, would get a bid to the Nationals competition in Florida. I was a little nervous before hand, but not that much. The first few hours consisted of just sitting around and watching the Jr.'s team go, and reading some of that stupid Vietnam book for History.
Awhile later, we had warm-ups and the we performed. We went up against 5 teams and we got second place. We also beat Bay State, who happen to be a really, really good All-Star squad that has been around for quite some time. Though we did fairly well, people did make mistakes and alot of people were upset and crying. Especially the Jr.'s, who totally bombed their routine but still got a bid to Nationals.
Now I'm quite tired and I should be studying for history or something, but I'm way too drained for the moment. Midterms start for me on Tuesday! I'm so not prepared. For anything.
Sigh.
