Clear plastic tape case, typewritten/cut/arranged/pasted tracklisting: .

A tape for my friend Gabe. Him and I have gone to shows together and whatnot, but I've never really shared much of the music I listen to with him. When I made The Pine / Rockets and Bluelights tape for Andrew, he let Gabe listen to it, and he couldn't believe how good the Rockets and Bluelights side was. He asked me if I could make him a tape of all of Rockets' material, and I said I would. So he brought me four 45-minute tapes. I'm going to try to represent a good selection of the music I like with these four tapes; each one getting further and further away from the kind of stuff he's used to.

I can type up the lyrics to the 10" if you want. Redder's shipping is pretty fast, though, so you should have the record in less than a week and a half. The record is really nice; dark red chipboard 10" sleeve with silkscreened covers, handwritten/photocopied notes and really thick dark red translucent vinyl. I really need to find out where I can get a hard copy of the demo tape, instead of just a boot. One of the best demos in a loooong while.

I'm going to have at least one of your tapes done by Sunday...the second one is pretty good so far. Since you dig CaP'n Jazz, you'll dig The Kossabone Red LP I put on it. Pre-Portrait; JUST like CaP'n Jazz with a more youthful and aggressive sound, but more shouting and stuff. I've got Braid's last LP (if you like them enough you should see them the 21st) and their song from the Bread! 2xLP compilation on the a-side. The b-side is the Kossabone Red LP, Moonraker's 10" (the a-side, "Twenty Minutes with Michael Kerney," sounds like shit because I listen to that song so often) and their song on the Bread! 2xLP.
