Haha. Nothing's wrong. I just hate Valentine's Day. Always have, always will, regardless of my relationship status. It just feels so fake, forced, and inevitably cheesy. Women have these romantic notions of the perfect day, creating way too many expectations and way too much stress to live up to those expectations. It's just not worth it. I've just never been a fan of it.
Haha. It never changed for me. And, especially this year, I just don't have the time or money to devote to it. Thankfully Liz is on call, so we both decided to just go with a quiet day out on Sunday instead. Nothing major. I think I just don't like the idea of someone telling me that today I'm supposed to be romantic. Which is partially why I'm planning on sending her some flowers at work sometime next week.

The Boyfriend are doing the same too. We practically slept most of the day and basically have done nothing all day except either watch tv or play video games like Street Fighter 4 for XBox. We've been both getting beat by Sagat who, according to The Boyfriend, is a one-eyed piece of shit. Anyway, he did buy me some chocolates and a heart shaped pillow, but nothing extravagant or whatever like a lot of women expect.
The only thing I got her was flowers and that was totally spur-of-the moment while we were out. We'd agreed beforehand that our money was better spent on living expenses and baby stuff this year. Next year, I'm assuming it'll be back on. Goody :P
