Duuuuuude...
Rough night like whoa. Between getting some really unsettling (yet somewhat good) news, my computer deciding to wake me up at midnight after completing a windows update, and several really obnoxious thunder storms in the wee hours of the morning... I slept maybe a grand total of three hours.

I feel so severely hung over.

	Dude... so off topic but did you happen to see what is going on in Illinois with the governor attempting to sell Obama's seat? Can't help but wonder if the timing of all this was done on purpose. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I haven't kept up with it that closely, but I know the jest of the story. I'm not sure what to think of it. It's definitely bad press for Obama, for obvious reasons. I'd like to believe that people are decent enough not to play politics... but it seems like all evidence points to the contrary. All I know is that this dude has pulled off a practically flawless campaign and transition... yet he's still getting crap. And it's not just from the bitter republicans either. Either he's appointing Clinton's recycled staff and the Dems want fresh faces, or he's appointing fresh faces and the Dems are worried about a lack of political experience. It's craziness. I can't tell you how long it has been since I've seen/read the news in full. I keep getting bits and pieces of the story from the radio on the way to work. I seriously need to take time to read the story in full, at least what I can from the net. I am not so stupid to think that there aren't "dirty" politicians out there. I just really didn't expect this to come from this govenor, as he seemed 'good' for this state with the things he has done to help those of us who need it, but it has. Again, it is the timing of all this that is bothering me the most. I feel for Obama. It seems to me that 'they' are going at him from any angle they can, forcing him into a 'can't win' situation.
