Another year over
Wow have these 2 years flown by or what?
1. What did you do in 2003-04 that you'd never done before? the parade, clinicals, surgeries, all the randomness
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? umm good question...next year i'm staying on top of things, getting the grades back up...the usual which means i probably didn't keep anything from last time
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? nope
4. Did anyone close to you die? yes
5. What countries did you visit? believe me, i've been to other worlds this year
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003? some sleep, time for a job, my car on campus
7. What date from 2003-04 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? there's alot...dec 13, april 28 which marked the ends, jan 8 marked the beginning, random days from the season, random nights out with people i'll never forget
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? getting out alive, PT, moving on
9. What was your biggest failure? the last 3 weeks of the semester
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? me? injured? never....
11. What was the best thing you bought? the blue hoodie and all those shoes
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? as much as i hate to admit it, michael's up there; jana
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? jana and dani....not such much appalled as shocked and worried
14. Where did most of your money go? alcohol and shoes
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? the end of the semester, parade, breaks
16. What song will always remind you of 2003? there's so many....i like the way you move, suga suga, fantasy, toxic, to make you feel my love, my immortal, you're so vain.....i could go on and on
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: i. happier or sadder? slightly happier i suppose ii. thinner or fatter? slightly thinner iii. richer or poorer? so much poorer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? sleeping, really learning anything, going after what i wanted
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? shopping, hesitating
20. How will you be spending Christmas? lets make that summer....working and in class....what else?
22. Did you fall in love in 2003? no...coulda shoulda woulda doesn't count....but i did fall out of love which i needed more anyway
23. How many one-night stands? they're not exactly one-night stands but there were a few
24. What was your favorite TV program? Friends, ER, ABC family
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? there are quite a few people i now dislike but not necessarily hate but at the same time, there's people i now love to death
26. What was the best book you read? the five people you meet in heaven
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? country hasn't grown on me yet if that's what you're all wondering
28. What did you want and get? to get out of here in one piece, good roommates, decent grades
29. What did you want and not get? money, a car on campus, food worth eating, stability
30. What was your favorite film of this year? haha definitely the video from one of my classes
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? i'm a summer birthday so i can't even answer that one anymore
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? things working out as planned
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003? highly variable....typically very comfortable but i think i clean up well
34. What kept you sane? the gym, nights with my crew, matthew, jenna, the girls from home, and the occasional drink
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Bennifer...what wasn't to love?
36. What political issue stirred you the most? the war and terrorism
37. Who did you miss? my girls from home and the work crew....some of them anyway
38. Who was the best new person you met? you'll be surprised, but i'm going with coach
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003: sometimes the best thing to do is the hardest thing to do...giving up doesn't have to mean you quit or you're weak...it can mean you're strong enough to let go and move on

So that's it. That's my year. Another one in the books. Another year closer to being grown up. Scary shit. Time to relax and revel in the nothingness of the rest of the week....
